I have been given the set times to my schedule. I have to finish my schedule to include when I am going to teach each subject. Do you want to help write my schedule? If you do please keep reading....
I am a second grade classroom. Here are my times that are set by my administration:
- 7:45-8:15 Writing Portfolio
- 9:15-9:45 Daily Specials (Computer, Library, Art, Music)
- 10:55-11:20 Lunch
- 12:45-1:30 Physical Education
- Math--90 minutes (includes intervention)
- Reading
- 45 minutes whole group (include grammar, spelling, phonics)
- 60 minutes small group instruction
- 20 minutes intervention
- 25 minutes writing
- Content (Science and Social Studies)--45 minutes
I teach until 2:45 pm. At my school we teach science for 4 1/2 weeks and social studies for 4 1/2 weeks. I am going to be open to all ideas. Please comment below or email me. I would LOVE to know your thoughts. What do you think would work best?

In my 2nd Grade Class I learned that my kids were the sharpest for Math in the mornings! I don't know how that would fit in but I started doing Math in the afternoons and I ended up ending the year with it in the mornings!
